Its Carnival this week...Carnival is CRAZY. Think Halloween and then multiply by 100. The entire city is decorated...and everyone in the city is dressed up...for 4 days in a row...and it doesnt matter where anyone is, they are in costume. At the mall, walking around the city centre, resturaunts, bars...you name it people are dressed up. Its one huge party and the ENTIRE COUNTRY is invited and participating...its a great time...I LOVE it. Ill post more pictures once I take them...I bought a memory stick for my camera...without realizing that the battery wasnt charged..so typical.
And if you were wondering...thats Jaap...We both look so AMAZING in this pic I know, but imagine being in a bar with wall to wall people everyone dancing and having a great time and it gets pretty hot and sweaty theres just no getting around it...but we had an awesome time out last night...just dancing and singing all night...I got to meet a bunch of his collegues and everyone agreed that we're "perfect" for each other...and here is why...Imagine my personality, which is quite unique, loud, outgoing, upbeat, and crazy...this boy is pretty much the same...which makes for a wicked good time...anyways i like him and Ill keep you updated on that...and Carnival...much love.

They didn't even celebrate Mardi Gras here! oh well we still have mudfest thatrocks! BIIG times jealous! Small chance I'll be teaching in Spain next year if so expect me to try and touch base if you're still somewhere in Europe!
